Such a fun and warm experience! You’ll be greeted by the cutest host in the world (the little dog, Poncha) and then relax with delicious wine and snacks. We did the wine tasting for 40 euros, which came with six generous glasses of wine and a meat and cheese board. The host explained each wine and region thoroughly and we were more than happy to sit and enjoy this place for a couple of hours. Highly recommend! Disappointed after seeing such great reviews. The wines we tried were nice but I found the service and experience did not match what others found. Service was slow even though it was super quiet. Whilst we were there staff had their Uber eats lunch at the table beside us. The description of the wines was fairly basic and I did not find the experience very personable. Read the reviews on Google and Maria Palato looked to be a great choice. I can say the reviews don't lie. Super friendly and the wine and Tapas were outstanding. Great relaxed ambiance as well. Perfect place for a glas of wine and some charcuterie! They really know their wine, and the large mixed board had some very nice cheeses and meats. Highly recomend! The owner was so hospitable and knows his wines. He even extended his knowledge to us while we traveled through the Douro Valley. One of our favorite nights in Lisbon was wine tasting here. We just randomly walked by and were looking to do a tasting of port wines. We were pleasantly surprised. We were educated of the port wines and regional wines and were served a delicious charcuterie plate. Not to mention the locatiob is very cute. I only wish we had come here sooner!
