My wife and I stopped in because this fine place is convenient from our rental. Wow. What a special place. Rui and his team are wonderful. I came all the way from Texas to end up here for my first meal, in Lisboa at Maria Palato by chance. We are so blessed to have found a place that we will never forget. The fish platter is €19,95 but almost all the fish is from a can. Dry bread on the side. I told the lady I am not a fan of Chardonnay and after 3 min she asks me if I wanted a Chardonnay... I didn’t feel the love from her. Compared to my favorite Antiga Wine Bar, the value for your money is poor. There are enough other options, with fresh food & great wine pairing in the city. We had wine tasting with 4 glasses of wine and cheese&meat plate. Spicy cheese and chorizo was quite good. Paired well with wine. It was not exceptional, but it was a very good experience to learn and try wine from different regions of Portugal. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it. Great place to have good glas of wine. Little wine bar with an awesome owner who was friendly, helpful and nice to us. We ate bread with cheese and olives which tasted really good.
